This is a two-year project initiated to consolidate the gains made in the previous one and half year's project, which has ended in March 2018. The project was funded by the AmplifyChange UK.

The implementation of the project commenced in October 2016 and came to term in March 2018.

The overall objective of the project was to increase community support towards educating youth on Gender-based violence and sexual reproductive health rights. During the one and half years, the project has reached more than 840 direct beneficiaries including men, women, girls and boys in two IDPs in Burao District.

The SRHR education remains as a taboo and sensitive issue in Somaliland. This project was its first kind that has ever been implemented in the region. During its implementation period, the project has enabled parents and community leaders including traditional leaders and religious leaders to have continuous discussions on the issues of SRHR, forced and early marriage through culturally acceptable procedures.
